CLIQS ("we", "our", "us") operates the cliqs.app website and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

By using CLIQS, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Account Information

When you sign up via GitHub or Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive or store your passwords.

CV Data

When you use the CV Builder, we store the content you enter (personal details, work experience, education, skills) to allow you to edit, save, and export your CV. This data is stored securely in our database.

ATS Analysis Data

When you use the ATS Score Checker, the CV text you submit is sent to AI providers (Google Gemini and/or OpenRouter) for analysis. We do not permanently store the CV text submitted for ATS analysis.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage data such as page views, feature usage counts (CVs created, ATS checks performed), and timestamps to improve our services.

• To save and manage your CV documents
• To perform AI-powered ATS analysis on submitted CVs
• To enforce usage limits (free plan rate limiting)
• To communicate with you about support tickets
• To detect and prevent abuse or fraud

We use the following third-party services:

• GitHub / Google OAuth — for authentication
• Google Gemini API — for AI-powered CV analysis
• OpenRouter API — for AI-powered CV analysis (fallback)
• Prisma / PostgreSQL — for data storage
• Vercel — for hosting and deployment

Each of these services has their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

We retain your account data and CV documents for as long as your account is active. You can request account deletion at any time through your dashboard settings — upon approval, all your data (CVs, downloads, account information) will be permanently deleted.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted database connections, secure OAuth flows, and HTTPS encryption. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your CV data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

CLIQS is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
